Omantel deploys Salalah Port 5G network
Omantel has partnered with the Port of Salalah to deploy Oman’s first managed private 5G network, a landmark project aimed at accelerating automation and digital transformation across the country’s logistics and maritime sectors
Under the agreement, Omantel will deploy a dedicated 5G standalone private core network supported by upgraded mobile sites to provide comprehensive coverage throughout the port.
