Trelleborg Marine and Infrastructure is nearing the final phase of a landmark navigation modernisation project, delivering its SafePilot Portable Pilot Unit and navigation software across 25 major Mexican ports

Once completed, the project will be one of the world’s largest standardised maritime navigation efforts, setting a new benchmark for port infrastructure in Latin America.

Trelleborg’s SafePilot PPU includes independent heading functionality and a flexible dual-unit configuration, enabling uninterrupted operations and quick hardware swaps.
