Trelleborg unveils smart berthing system
Trelleborg Marine & Infrastructure has launched a new berthing monitoring technology designed to enhance the safety, efficiency and sustainability of port operations around the world
The Smart Docking Aid System (SmartDAS) equips operators with accurate, objective data, enabling smarter decision-making across both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning.
SmartDAS detects vessels up to 200 metres away, capturing real-time metrics such as distance, velocity and approach angle.
