Kuenz Container Cranes for CLIP, Poznan, Poland

For subject extension, Kuenz has been awarded for the delivery of three brand new single girder intermodal cranes, provided with a sophisticated, aerodynamic shaped design and crane control system for efficient container handling. The cranes will be able to stack one over four containers and be equipped with a piggyback spreader for 20 – 40 ft ISO container, trailer and swap body handling. The Rail Mounted Gantry cranes will have a lifting capacity of 40 tons under spreader, a rail span of 50,9 m with a hinged and fixed post cantilever of respectively 19,5 m and 17,0 m. Delivery and commissioning of the three fully electric driven intermodal cranes will take place in 2021.
