The 8th GreenPort Congress will take on a dramatic change to encourage greater participation and discussion throughout the two days of the event.

In a radical attempt to end the current trend at conferences for delegates to be exposed to ‘death by PowerPoint’ the programme at the 8th GreenPort Congress will take on a dramatic change to encourage greater participation and discussion throughout the two days of the event.

Following the themes of the ESPO Green Guide – Exemplify, Enable, Engage, Encourage and Enforce - that was launched at the 2012 GreenPort Congress, each session will start with two plenary keynote speeches; an overview and a state of play presentation. The session will then breakdown into three working groups which will involve all sectors of the port community: port authorities, port users (terminal operators, logistics companies, shippers, shipping lines etc) and suppliers of equipment and services to the port community. The findings of each group will then be presented by the group moderators to the rest of the audience in a plenary session.
