Sennebogen has launched a new mobile harbour crane (MHC) with a 40m range and capacity for almost 31 tonnes.
The multi-use 9300 E is designed to handle handles vessel sizes up to Panamax class for bulk handling and feeder ships as well as standard vessels for containers.
The heavy load handling and working range of the model aims to boost performance for both bulk and container handling in ports, due to the crane’s reach.
With a 20m reach the crane is able to handle 90 tonnes.
The German manufacturer says in addition to the diesel-hydraulic drive with fuel-saving green efficiency technology, its crane can accommodate an electro-hydraulic drive which has the ability to reduce the operating costs by up to 50%. In both drive variations the winches can achieve a lifting speed of 100m per minute.
The crane includes a Skylift 1100 cab adjustment which enables the driver to work at a preferred height and safely maneuverer because of proximity to the undercarriage. The cab adjustment also offers operators the ability to view the surrounding environment without any obstructions.
The 9300 E design incorporates an outrigger area of 11.5m by 11.5m, with outriggers that fold out and base plates that help the MHC achieve a low ground pressure.
The single suspension of the 14 wheels was created to make manoeuvring easier while distributing the load of the almost 300 tonne machine using the individual load balance of all wheel sets at the same time on the ground.
