SME secures funding for tidal energy in Orkney

SME has secured funding to deploy its PLAT-O tidal energy system at EMEC in Orkney

UK-based marine engineering company, Sustainable Marine Energy (SME), has arranged a £4.5m funding package to begin deploying an array of its PLAT-O tidal energy systems at the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) in Orkney.
