UK port operator, Forth Ports, is implementing a new port management system developed by Tidalis to help streamline operations.
Forth Ports says it chose Tidalis’s Port Management Information System (PMIS) because it impressed with its management of vessel calls, pilots and tugs, together with billing and reporting, in a single system.
“It is great to partner with Tidalis to implement their advanced PMIS at our ports across the UK,” said Alan McPherson, chief harbour master at Forth Ports.
McPherson praised the flexibility of the system, saying it would support Forth Ports in its growth plans.
“Their solution offers the comprehensive functionality, scalability and expertise we need to optimise our operations, improve efficiency, and enhance customer service,” he continued.
“This project marks a significant step forward in our digitalisation journey and strengthens our position as one of the leading port operators in the UK.”
