Husky installs Nokia private network

New-Cranes-March-2019-1024x683

Husky Terminal has installed a Nokia 4.9G/LTE network to help optimise freight movement at the Port of Tacoma in Washington

Replacing the terminal’s existing WiFi, the private wireless network covers 100% of the 115 acre (46.5 ha) yard, even reaching areas filled with metal containers stacked 18 metres high.

Nokia will be running a webinar on 8 November to highlight the benefits of a private wireless network.
