DP World subsidiary, Community Network Services has linked its customs management system with the UK’s air cargo system to seamlessly connect trade across land, air and sea.

Linking directly with CCS – the UK’s pre-existing electronic air cargo community – CNS’s centralised digital platform promises to offer increased efficiency, flexibility, and access to airlines, transit shared operators and customs brokers.

CNS’s system allows for simplified customs declarations

“Our platform is constantly evolving to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers,” said Matthew Bradley, managing director at CNS.

“Our integration with CCS UK is the final piece of the puzzle, fostering greater visibility and collaboration across the customs network to boost regulatory compliance and lock in more value.”

CNS’s is a proprietary mobile-accessible interface for simplified customs declaration and management.

For existing users such as shipping lines, the CCS UK integration will centralise air, ocean, and land markets, streamlining regulatory compliance. It now offers CCS UK inventory-linked declarations, providing a unified view of statuses across both CCS UK and Customs Declaration Service dashboards.

The enhanced CNS system also offers customers a way to manage declarations. It includes automatic alerts to declaration discrepancies, customisable dashboards, quick search options, and the ability to view multi-level consignments and declare goods across multiple airports.
