An innovative netting to prevent falls from height has won the TT Innovation in Safety Awards

Developed through a partnership between breakbulk industry supplier, Cross Currents 88 and breakbulk shipper, G2 Ocean, the ‘spyder netting’ is a thin layer of plastic film which can be secured between layers of cargo.

The successful shortlisted entries offered solutions to preventing potentially fatal falls in cargo holds, enhancing mooring safety and improving the safety and stability of containers on board ships.
