Eight maritime and logistics technology companies have been selected as finalists for the Standardised Data Innovation Challenge (SDIC). The competition is organised by Smart Maritime Network and ClassNK and retains the support of Japan’s major shipping companies, ‘K’ Line, MOL and NYK line. The finalists get to work with data sets from Japan’s maritime companies via the Internet of Ships Open Platform (IoS-OP) and consist of CetoAI, Daphne Technology, Oceanly, Sealution, SmartSeas.AI, The Oceann, Toqua and zero44.
