UK Drone Funding

Associated British Ports (ABP) is among a consortium of six partners that have received funding for the construction and testing of drones. The UK-based consortium is known as ‘Intelligent Drones for Port and Highways Technology (InDePTH)” and along with ABP consists of BT, Robok, HeroTech8, Kier and Connected Places Catapult. The UK government funding is through UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), with the overall project aiming to monitor and control critical national infrastructure such as highways and ports.
