The 2016 GreenPort Congress will again include Working Groups, providing delegates with opportunities to discuss in more depth solutions for the transfer of policy to practice through the use of effective skills and technologies.
Delegates will have the opportunity to choose between Working Groups on port expansion, nature protection, noise pollution and air emissions. Each group will feature a small number of presentations from ports, terminal operators, NGOs and OEMs and will be facilitated by experienced moderators who will encourage discussion and extract results from their groups. The results will then be presented to the plenary group, ensuring all findings are shared to all delegates. View the programme online for more details of the working groups.
The Working Groups are not only excellent for knowledge sharing but also stimulate networking as delegates work in small teams to formulate solutions and ideas. Other networking opportunities include the Welcome Reception (11 October 2016), the Gala Dinner (12 October 2016) and the Port Tour (14 October 2016), all organised and hosted by Venice Port Authority.
