With the app, available for iOS, Android and web-based applications, users can monitor trucks, containers and vessels as well as view payment estimates in advance, helping them optimise cargo and reduce costs.

The ICTSI app promises to eliminate conflicting and late information, says its developers. As well as monitoring movement of cargo, users can send information directly to customers, access payment estimates for their transactions and make online payments.

This latest innovation is the result of a multi-year investment in an underlying digital platform that consolidates data and services across the ICTSI Group. The company will launch the new technology in the Philippines where it is headquartered before a global roll-out.
