Turner & Townsend advises on ABP development drive

The group owns more than 950 acres of development land across the UK and is making land available which could be used for manufacturing, renewable energy and distribution.

Turner & Townsend will join other companies to help move ABP’s preferred sites to the next stages of development, including detailed cost planning, implementation of master-planning strategies, design development and site de-risking.

Huw Turner, ABP Group head of property said that this latest appointment reflected the company’s determination to create job opportunities and help the UK economy.

Steve Perkins, director at Turner & Townsend, added: “Our contribution to the programme will support both local and national economic growth, help create jobs, and make efficient use of land in highly accessible locations close to UK markets and with excellent sea routes to Europe and beyond.”
