FOURTH TERMINAL FOR KARACHI

The tender will combine BOT with concession contracts but is for all six terminals as a single contract and operators will not be able to bid for individual terminals. The tender closes on 1 September.

Karachi is to build a fourth container handling facility, which will be known as the Country Craft Terminal. It will be located at the NMB Wharf, where the berth has already been dredged to accept ferry traffic to Mumbai.
