CMA CGM in Xiamen investment
CMA CGM, in partnership with Xiamen municipality and Hong Kong-based New WorldServices, is to undertake a joint-venture construction of a new containerterminal at Haicang, in the port of Xiamen. This is due to enter service in 2009.
Currently, Vietnamese ports handle around 170m tonnes, which is a significant rise on the 154m tonnes reported in 2006.
