Contingency planning now essential for VGM
Just days until the enforcement date of the IMO’s SOLAS amendment on container weighing, the industry is being told to put contingency plans in place as upwards of 70% of containers are expected at ports without a verified gross mass come July 1, according to ICHCA International.
