Biofuel sales up 200% in Singapore

Bunker sales of biofuels in the Port of Singapore more than tripled in 2023

The port saw 520,000 tonnes sold last year compared with 140,000 tonnes in 2022. Biofuel blends of up to B30 are commercially available at the port, whilst trials of up to B100 are on-going.

The annual vessel arrival gross tonnage broke three billion for the first time totally 3.09 billion, an increase of 9.4% over the previous year. The port attributes this to growth across all segments despite the global trade slowdown.
