A proposed US$4.7 billion offshore wind project could help California meet the US’s decarbonisation targets

The Port of Long Beach has revealed ambitious new plans for a floating offshore wind facility to help California and the wider nation meet renewable energy targets.

The Pier Wind project would support the manufacture and assembly of offshore wind turbines standing as tall as the Eiffel Tower.
