A new partnership is set to explore ways to help decarbonise Europe’s inland waterways

HGK Shipping and the Port of Rotterdam Authority have teamed up to promote sustainable inland waterway services in northern Europe.

The partnership will focus mainly on alternative fuels such as hydrogen as well as exploring drive concepts and digitalisation to reduce carbon emissions.
