DP World has significantly expanded its electric internal terminal vehicle fleet at Jebel Ali Port, making it one of the largest electric port vehicle fleets in the Middle East

The expansion from 14 units in December 2024 to 146 units as of October 2025 is expected to reduce diesel consumption and cut greenhouse gas emissions by over 10%, equivalent to removing 2,255 cars from the road annually.

The upgraded fleet features 35 diesel vehicles converted to electric by DP World’s in-house engineering team, alongside over 100 new electric vehicles.
