An international green hydrogen project spearheaded by FreePort East in the UK and involving partners both in the UK and Australia has received significant investment.

The Hydrogen Zero Emission Maritime (HyZEM) project will receive GB£1.44 million from Innovate UK and a similar sum from Australia’s Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, in order to develop low-carbon green hydrogen technology for high powered workboats in both countries.
