Egypt’s first permit for green methanol supply

Clean energy firm, OCI Global, has won the first permit to supply green methanol as a bunker fuel in Egypt

In its LinkedIn post the firm said it will be supplying the fuel at East Port Said and West Port Said.

The General Authority of Suez Canal Economic Zone’s board of directors has approved a six-month renewable permit for OCI Global’s renewable and low-carbon fuels subsidiary, OCI HyFuels, to provide green methanol bunkering services at both ports.
