Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the sector. It is a place for industry professionals to meet and discuss future innovation, economic and environmental considerations – and develop partnerships that will help build a sustainable future. Equipping Latin America’s first fully electrified terminal
The arrival of US$47 million in electrified port equipment marks a key milestone in the final construction phase of Latin America’s first fully electrified port facility.
APM Terminals Suape has received 28 fully electrified Sany equipment units at the Governador Eraldo Gueiros Industrial and Port Complex in Pernambuco, Brazil, enabling the terminal to advance into the final technical stage before operations begin in the second half of 2026.
