Port of Rotterdam has completed its first ethanol bunkering operation for a sea-going vessel, marking a new milestone for alternative fuels at the port.

The container ship Eco Levant, operated by X-Press Feeders, was supplied with ethanol and methanol in Rotterdam using a single inland bunker vessel under controlled operational conditions.
