EU port trepidation over shore power regulations

This week the European Parliament will formalise two important port regulations on alt fuels and shore power.

Both the Regulation on the deployment of Alternative Fuel Infrastructure (AFIR) and the Regulation on the use of renewable and low-carbon fuels in maritime transport and amending Directive 2009/16/EC (FuelEU Maritime), are set to be voted on this week.
