European ports forge green shipping alliance

Six European ports have joined forces with X-Press Feeders to establish green shipping corridors across Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea

The ports of Antwerp-Bruges (Belgium), Tallinn (Estonia), Helsinki (Finland), HaminaKotka (Finland), Riga (Latvia) and Klaipėda (Lithuania) will be joining the reportedly the world’s largest independent common carrier on a range of initiatives to help decarbonise shipping.

Key to the endeavours will be the use of green methanol sourced from OCI Global and made from green hydrogen and waste organic material.
