A new methanol tug project will influence how ports approach their infrastructure planning for alternative fuels

Damen Shipyards and Boluda Towage have teamed up to launch the first newbuild methanol-fuelled tug in Europe.

The two are now working together to identify the best potential harbour, work which will have repercussions for how ports approach their infrastructure planning for the coming increase in alternative fuels.
