Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) has deployed four new hybrid automatic container carriers as part of a major expansion programme to increase sustainable terminal capacity at the Port of Melbourne.

The new Kalmar hybrid automatic container carriers (ACCs), commissioned and integrated into operations over recent weeks, are designed to strengthen landside efficiency while reducing port emissions through improved energy performance and hybridisation technologies.
