Italian ports accelerate shore power rollout

Cavotec has secured a €3 million contract to deliver shore power systems across several ports in southern Italy, advancing port electrification and reducing port emissions.

The order includes the supply of PowerFeed, PowerReach and PowerMove technologies, which will enable cruise, container and RoRo vessels to connect to shore power while at berth.
