Itapoá slashes port emissions with electrification

Porto Itapoá avoided the consumption of over 1.18 million litres of fuel in 2024 which equates to the reduction of 4,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases.

This achievement was made possible by investments of over R$ 160 million that the terminal made in expanding and modernising its fleet of equipment - including ten hybrid ZPMC RTGs, which began operating in 2024.
