Long Beach goes green with Tri-gen system

A new system to generate renewable hydrogen, electricity and water has been officially opened at Toyota’s facility in Long Beach

Developed in partnership with FuellCell Energy, the first-of-its-kind ‘Tri-gen’ system uses biogas to produce renewable electricity, renewable hydrogen, and usable water.

The system is capable of generating up to 1,200 kg/day of hydrogen and 6,635 litres of usable water.
