Methanol ship accelerates Net Zero targets

The maiden voyage of the Laura Maersk, the first container ship in the world to complete a voyage powered by green methanol, is helping decarbonise each port it calls at.

For Hutchison Ports Port of Felixstowe, it meant the deployment of the first of its 150 electric trucks on order to service the ship, demonstrating how zero-emission journeys through the port are possible.
