Konecranes has launched a new E-Hybrid Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) crane and electric empty container handler designed to reduce carbon emissions and energy costs while improving operational reliability.

The E-Hybrid RTG moves beyond traditional diesel-battery hybrids, offering a battery-electric model that can still operate during power blackouts - a common risk for many terminals.
