MPA joins green corridor initiative in a ‘significant step forward’ towards deeper collaboration between industry and Singapore’s port regulator

Lloyd’s Register Maritime Decarbonisation Hub (LR MDH) and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) have joined forces to foster zero-emission shipping across the Indian and Pacific Oceans.

The memorandum of understanding will see the companies joining ‘The Silk Alliance’ to create a green corridor to trial decarbonisation strategies for container ships operating primarily in Asia.
