APM Terminals and Conductix-Wampfler have struck a deal for the supply of rubber-tyred gantry crane electrification products and services, marking the third collaboration between the two companies

Over the past 14 years, Conductix-Wampfler has provided APM Terminals with 413 energy supply systems for electric RTGs, both new and retrofitted, and 116 battery systems.

APM Terminals has already executed large-scale ‘diesel-to-electric’ conversions at terminals worldwide, replacing diesel-powered cranes with electric alternatives and investing in renewable energy such as solar power to supply clean electricity to its facilities.
