Port of Long Beach has launched a US$1 million incentive to accelerate commercial-scale methanol bunkering and support cleaner maritime fuel adoption.

The Clean Fuel Bunkering Challenge will reward the first oceangoing vessel to refuel with methanol at the Californian port on a commercial scale.
