Port of Newcastle builds a future in hydrogen

HPC Hamburg Port Consulting (HPC) has been appointed to develop the final business case for Port of Newcastle’s Clean Energy Precinct in Australia, a major step in the port’s alternative fuels strategy.

The project will assess opportunities for hydrogen and green ammonia production, fuel storage and fuel export, which aims to cement Newcastle’s role as a leading hub for sustainable trade.
