STAX Engineering is set to debut its innovative maritime emissions capture system at the Port of Southampton, marking a major milestone in its expansion into the UK market

The deployment comes as part of a £1.1 million Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition (CMDC6) grant awarded to a four-company consortium led by carbon capture startup Seabound.

The PortZero project, ‘Enabling Zero-Emission Ports via Carbon and Air Pollution Capture from Berthed Vessels’, brings together STAX Engineering, Seabound, Associated British Ports and Lomar Shipping.
