Visit to Port Talbot to discuss its role in offshore wind

Associated British Ports and the UK Government have agreed terms for public funding to support the development of floating offshore wind infrastructure at Port Talbot, marking a major step in plans to establish the site as a key industrial hub for the Celtic Sea

The agreement, subject to final approval by the Competition and Markets Authority, will combine government backing with further private investment from ABP to deliver large-scale manufacturing, assembly and marshalling capacity for floating offshore wind projects.
