A prototype proof-of-concept reactor for ports is set to ‘change the way nuclear power works’

A maritime nuclear power specialist has raised US$100 million to help build a prototype proof-of-concept reactor for ports.

The initial aim is for shipyard-manufactured floating nuclear power plants that would produce green fuels derived from hydrogen through electrolysis of desalinated seawater.
