Scandlines unveils emissions-free ferry

Scandlines has marked a significant milestone in sustainable transport with its latest state-of-the-art freight ferry, which has just completed its second sea trial in the Sea of Marmara

Costing around €80 million the emissions-free vessel was built at the Cemre shipyard and tested under the scrutiny of Lloyd’s Register.

At 147.4 metres it has 1,200 lane metres of freight capacity and can carry 140 passengers.
