Konecranes has secured its first UK order for a barge-handling reach stacker to support round-the-clock waste-to-energy operations in London’s recycling ecosystem. 

The SMV 4646 TCX4 machine, due for delivery in Q2 2026, will handle waste containers transported by barge along the River Thames supporting efficient port logistics for a major recycling and waste-management facility.
