Taiwan has approved its first commercial port site for wave energy testing, marking a milestone in the nation’s marine renewables strategy.

Eco Wave Power and its partner I-KE International Ocean Energy, a subsidiary of Lian Tat Company, have been awarded exclusive rights to deploy Taiwan’s first 100 kW onshore wave energy unit at Suao Port.
