A project spearheading shore-based power in Scotland has been awarded UK government ZEVI funding

The Port of Aberdeen has been awarded funding from the UK government for a multi-million pound project to design and deliver the first large-scale shore-based power system in Scotland.

The demonstrator project aims to cut vessel emissions at the berths by more than 80% compared with burning marine fuel.
