A tender to develop a new container terminal in Russia has been announced.

Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group has announced a tender to develop a declaration of intent to develop a new container terminal in the Port of Novorossiysk, reported SeaNews.
The new terminal could encompass 53.2 hectares and have an annual capacity of 1m TEU, including 630,000 TEU of laden containers, 270,000 TEU of empties and 100,000 TEU of reefer containers.
Infrastructure is expected to include four cargo berths capable of accommodating Post-Panamax Class vessels with a container capacity of 10,000 and more TEU.
The contractor will have to conduct a feasibility study of federal, municipal and private investment into the construction of a specialised container terminal in Novorossiysk.
