Flinders investors divest stakes
Two investors have divested their holdings in South Australian ports operator Flinders Ports.
A 14.286% stake held by the Svitzer global towage business has been sold to investment consortium Local DIT Investments Pty Ltd, while French transport and infrastructure group Egis has sold its 7.143 % holding to an entity controlled by existing shareholder, Equipsuper. Svitzer’s stake was initially a consequence of its acquisition of Adsteam in 2007. Adsteam had previously led a consortium to secure a 99-year lease on the port of Adelaide and six regional South Australian ports.
