Ghana Port and Harbours Authority (GPHA) has received all the responses to its Request for Expression of Interest and the prequalification process is now complete.

Four qualified firms have now been shortlisted to participate in the next stage of process to become the terminal operator for the proposed Takoradi Dry Bulk Terminal.

These are, Grindrod Lit, South Africa, Marsa Maroc, Morocco, Sea-Invest Corporation, Belgium and Transnet SOC Ltd, South Africa.

Richard Anamoo, director general at GPHA, said: “While we congratulate the prequalified entities, we are also very grateful to the entities that showed great interest in the development agenda to make this competition worthy and keen.”
